Feeding Guidelines

YUMEGA Cat is easy to use – simply mix with your cat’s main meal.

DAILY RECOMMENDATIONS
For an average 5kg cat, mix 1ml with food daily. For smaller cats, apply 4 drops per kg of body weight.

Unlike many oils, because YUMEGA Cat is made from natural seed oils and fresh salmon oil, it has a fresh aroma and is naturally tasty.

USING YUMEGA FOR THE FIRST TIME?
It’s important to give your cat time to get used to new things you introduce into their diet, so try just adding a few drops for the first week before moving up to the recommended amount of YUMEGA for your cat.

BREEDER’S TIP
Some cat’s can be quite fussy about changes in their food or adding things to their meals. If your cat is one of these, try putting the YUMEGA Cat into their bowl without food - they'll often lap it up. Alternatively, try dropping a few drops of YUMEGA Cat onto their front leg. They’ll groom themselves to clean their leg, and get the benefit of YUMEGA that way!

We source the oils we use to make YUMEGA Cat from natural sources like organic evening primrose, sunflower and fresh Norwegian salmon, which are known for their beneficial effects on the skin and coat. We cold press the seeds to extract the oil, just like they do to produce virgin olive oil, and then we bottle the oil to maintain freshness.

We don’t use chemical extraction or refinement processes to obtain the oils so that we can maintain the oil in its natural condition.

Then we add Vitamin E from natural plant sources to maintain the quality of the oil and mop up free radicals.

Which means that we can supply you a product made with natural, renewable ingredients, which is good for your cat, and better for the environment.
